Have we allowed enough time for this function?

Functions last for between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the type of event, your menu selection and speeches or presentations. We are very flexible about when the time a function ends, after all it's your special event. If you plan on your function finishing after midnight, our normal closing time, simply let us know the duration in advance so that we can properly roster the staff to ensure your guests needs are catered for. There is an extra charge of $100 per hour or part thereof after midnight plus labour costs. For most functions, two staff members are sufficient to meet your needs at this time of the evening.

What will happen if we arrive early or late?

We understand that at times you or your guests can run a little late to events. A courtesy phone call to let us know will enable us to prepare for any change. And if your guests arrive early, they can enjoy a drink from our wine list.

Will there be enough food?

Typically our guests are very satisfied with the food available at both cocktail parties and banquets. However, our kitchens are always ready for any extra food that you might like to order.

Will there be food that everyone will want to eat?

Our menu offers a diverse range of over 70 dishes catering to almost every taste. Our Events Manager will discuss any special requirements you may have and we are always pleased to tailor a banquet or cocktail menu to the tastes of your guests.

What about people on a diet or with special dietary requirements?

Simply let us know in advance of any special dietary needs, vegetarian requirements or food allergies so that we can ensure appropriate arrangement are made to prepare dishes your guests will enjoy. We have a range of steamed and vegetarian dishes, however depending on your allergy we unfortunately can't guarantee shellfish free, gluten free and nut free meals, because shellfish, glutens and nuts can be found in many of the ingredients we use to prepare our dishes.

Will the event be perfect?

Our Events Manager and everyone involved with your function are professionally trained in the hospitality industry. We take great pride in the praise we receive from our customers after their successful event. If you have additional requirements, such as audiovisual, lighting or music, we can arrange these for you at an additional cost; so you can enjoy your event and the company of your guests.
