If you’re after something slightly different but not too far out of your comfort zone, this tea is for you. Some scented teas smell promising but under-deliver on taste – however this is not one of them.
I found this tea pleasant to drink – refreshing with a sweet, caramelised vanilla flavour lingering through to the end without too much sweetness. Perfect as an after-dinner refresher or a great accompaniment to that naughty third course we like to call dessert.
I must admit I made a pot for 3 and drank the whole lot to myself.

The Vanilla Sencha is quite aromatic with its sweet Vanilla scent. And there’s no bitterness at all – very delicious!

I recently tried the Vanilla Sencha tea. It is a green tea with a beautiful hint of vanilla.
I really like to drink it after dinner instead of grabbing something like a bar of chocolate or a bowl of ice cream.
Delicious!!

Just received my 1st tea to test, Vanilla Sencha. Couldn’t wait to brew myself a refreshing cup (had one of those days at work and feeling rather stressed). I opened the packet and breathed in the beautiful aroma of vanilla and what smelt like freshly clipped grass. I boiled my fancy new fangled kettle to 80 degrees (as that what it tells me is the optimum water temperature for green tea), followed the instructions and let brew for 3 to 5 minutes, popped in the 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar (as that is all the diet allows for these days)…. have only one comment…bliss…..beautiful aromas of vanilla. What a refreshing brew. The tasting notes hint at a slight bitterness, but i can taste none of that, just a lovely fresh “summer day in the back yard” feeling. All of that and it’s good for me!. Definitely one to try after a stressful day..i think I might have a second.

I have just tried the vanilla sencha tea and completely agree that this is an “anytime” tea. It is soft with a delicate sweetness which means that it can be partnered to a variety of dishes and will complement just about any meal. I will drink this tea after a meal to satisfy any sweet cravings so can see it as an aid to weight loss. I am not a fan of green tea but this one has converted me.

Just tried the vanilla sencha tea and am completely converted! The aroma alone is lovely but after sampling the tea itself it’s quite evident to me that this is my new ‘favorite thing’. There’s is no bitterness to this tea just a smooth taste not overpowered by a vanilla taste. Thanks for the chance to be a ‘tea tester’. Am a happy camper!

The vanilla Sencha is even better than I expected! I do love a good green and this one exceeded my expectations, the creamy vanilla mixed with the ever so slightly bitter green tea is an absolute indulgence to all senses! Smells and tastes delightful and I couldn’t stop after just one cup!!

We can not stop at one cup either Lynnette.

The delicious aromas of caramel and vanilla hit you as soon as you pour boiling water in a pot of vanilla sencha tea – fabulous any time of day!

I recently received the ‘Love Tea’ in my tea tester pack and was amazed when I opened it – the tea balls are presented beautifully! I prepared the tea as instructed and was again amazed at the ‘flower’ that appeared in my tea pot! The tea itself is very refreshing and light, with a hint of jasmine which I love. The only downside is – I now need to buy a glass tea pot so I can admire the tea flower to its fullest! I will definitely recommend to anyone who loves a mild, refreshing tea!

I love the Vanilla Sencha Tea. It is smooth and flavorsome, sweet but not overpoweringly so. As a Diabetic this tea is the perfect treat to have at the end of a meal so I feel like I am having a dessert when in fact I am just having a cuppa.
It has a caramel, vanilla infusion that makes one want multiple cups instead of stopping at just one. I highly recommend this tea to anyone who enjoys Vanilla flavors.

I was delighted to receive the sample of Iron Buddha to review as I am a big fan of “traditional” Chinese teas. Iron Buddha is not your average Chinese tea you get at the local Chinese restaurant. This is a fresh, stimulating “morning” tea with a lovely “floral” aroma as found in quality oolong teas grown at high altitude. This is the type of tea you normally have to go to Asia to buy. If you are sensitive to caffeine (as I am) then avoid drinking at night. This tea is surprisingly forgiving during the brewing process. I say “surprisingly forgiving” because many high-end teas can become bitter if not brewed correctly. I made several brews of Iron Buddha at different temperatures and steeping times and almost all came out well. Personally, I prefer hotter temperatures (at or above 90 degrees celsius) for up to 5 minutes to bring out the fuller flavour. At lower temperatures you will miss out on the “body”. I found the first 1-2 brews are the best. This is an excellent tea and I am very happy that teas like this are becoming more available in Australia.

I was very happy to receive a packet of Iron Buddha to review. This is my first time being ask to give feedback on tea drinking. I brewed 3 teaspoons in my 200ml pot with boiled water from electric kettle. I emptied the first teapot quickly to get rid of any dust. Then pour new water to brew the tea for a few more minutes walla all done! I like the nice golden color throughout the first 3 teapots. Taste fresh and smooth and goes very well with my yum cha delights. However if I was not told it is iron buddha i would not know it is. From my taste with iron buddha or tieguanyin it has a unique taste which reminds me of dining at bakkutteh stalls. However I like this clean and refreshing taste and would be very happy to stock them in my pantry.

I was over the moon when I was told I’d be getting to review the Peach Melba tea. Having had the chance to come into the shop and have yum cha there, and ordering from the website so I could take OTH teas with me when I traveled last year, I was anxious to try a new flavour.
I’m onto my second cup of Peach Melba tea as I write this, and oh my! Right from the first sip of hot tea to the last gulp of chilly cold tea, it’s a joy to drink, and nibble! This is the sort of tea that you do *not* want to use a tea strainer with! It would spoil all the fun of having an Elderberry burst in your mouth, or getting to chew on a piece of dried peach.
A wonderful tea to have at any time of the day or night, and all year round! Light and fruity and sweet, with or without sugar. I use one and a bit “pinches” in my large size cup, making sure I get a piece or two of peach in there when I do it…then add water that’s been off the boil for a minute or so, and stir…making sure I leave the spoon in there for later use – have to get those yummy bits that I might have missed while drinking it!
Now, I’m off to make another cup of this stunning tea before bed!

Thank you for asking me to review Peach Melba Tea. I love the name, and enjoyed the tea. I found it perfect to drink while I study. I liked the fact I could top up the same cup with hot water three times and each time it tasted refreshing and delicious. The dried fruit absolutely sensational. It was good to have while reading and relaxing too. Perfect for me.
Thank you for asking me to review Peach Melba. It is differenct to any other teas I have tasted. Delicious!!.
